I spent the last couple of days hiking part of the Pennine Way in the Peak District. I started in Edale which is this tiny little town with a big heart! ❤️

I hiked to the top of Mam Tor and a few other peaks which shall remain nameless…since I have no idea what they are called.😓

I also hiked to a beautiful village, Castleton. You can see what remains of the castle from the mountain tops. Strolling through the narrow, windy streets I came across a trail that led me to a cave! There are a number of hidden gems like these caves and castles throughout these parts.
Lake District
I stayed 4 amazing days in Keswick, (pronounced Kesick), camping right on Lake Denterwater. So far this has been one of my favorite places to stay!
Hiked Catbells, which was so much fun! It is steep and you can take a longer path up that doesn’t require rock scrambling…but for me that was my favorite part of the climb.
Took a walk around the lake the following day. It was an easy 8 mile walk.
Took a bus to Grasmere also in the Lake District, Ambleside, Windermere, and Bowness. Walked from one quaint town to the next all day! It was raining on and off all day…so it was a perfect day to jump into a shop or have tea at a cafe all day long.
