Zion National Park

One of my favorite National Parks is Zion. The vibrant colors and swirling patterns of the towering spires, and slot canyons inspire me to climb further, hike farther, and gaze longer at the beauty. A must-do is going to the Temple of Sinawava and walking along the Riverside Walk, (which is wheelchair accessible), to The Narrows.

This amazing trail guides you through slot canyons while wading, and sometimes swimming in the Virgin River. Make sure you are prepared for this amazing journey by having sturdy hiking shoes, protective gear for your phone/camera, and poles. The current is often fast and the rushing river is filled with stones that can knock you down. Pack lots of food and water and picnic by the cascading water and the rosy canyon walls that are 110-270 million years old.

These places remind me to slow down, breath, feel the cool, wet, tingling water, wash away the cob webs that cloud my mind, opening up my heart and soul to being present.

Where do you go to recreate, rejuvenate, get inspired?

Sending love and light to all!💕🙏Sigi
