Roadtrips: Cadillac Ranch, Goblin State Park

(Emma-Goblin State Park)

I’ve always loved road trips, exploring hidden gems, and quirky off-road adventures. I love the excitement of finding unexplored treasures along the way. What a fun way to break up a trip by stopping at Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo Texas, and painting the cars with spray paint as their tails hang high from being buried in the dirt. Maybe go to Goblin State Park, near Green River, Utah, and feel like Alice in Wonderland hopping from the mushroom rock to the bunny boulder.

One of my favorite parts of an adventure is pre-planning. I spend hours upon hours reading about places to go that I haven’t been to yet. My favorite boondocking sites show me where I can camp for free. Roadside America and Backroad Planet have a treasure of information about unique things to do and see while on a road trip. My library of traveling books has little sticky notes strewed throughout them about places I want to go or return to.

So I’m planning my next roadtrip. If you could go anywhere, where would you want to go and why?

Sending love and light to all!…and safe journeys too!❤️🙏Sigi
